The Hague International Business School (Haagse Hogeschool, University of Professional Education) is one of the Netherlands’ leading institutions of higher education, with an enrolment of approximately 16,000 students. The institution offers more than 30 degree programmes spanning economics, management, information science and technology, engineering, behavioural and social sciences, nursing, education, sports and languages. All programmes are closely aligned with societal needs, with its MBA programme being particularly distinguished.
The Hague International Business School launched its part-time MBA programme in 1991 and formally introduced the full-time MBA programme in 1998. In July of that same year, the programme became the first in the Netherlands to be accredited by the Dutch Master’s Degree Accreditation Committee (DVC) as an MBA programme taught entirely in English, and has been hailed as a cradle for cultivating ‘first-class’ MBA talent.
