Murdoch University, founded in 1973, is a research university. The pursuit of perfection is the characteristic of our school. It enjoys a high reputation in the world for its first-class teaching and scientific research work, because 70% of the academic workers in the school have doctoral degrees, so it is not surprising. As mentioned in the Excellent University Guide, Moddock University is the only institution that has achieved five-star graduation satisfaction for five consecutive years, which is beyond the reach of other universities in Australia.
The name comes from Mr. Walter Moddock, an outstanding scholar and critic in Australia. The school covers an area of 227 hectares, and the characteristic plants in Australia decorate the campus beautifully. In 1987, the school won the prestigious urban design award for its contact performance in architecture, landscaping and planning and design. It takes only about 20 minutes to drive from Moddock University to Pace Central Business District, and only 10 minutes to drive to freeman Tuo, the favorite historical hometown of Moddock University students.
There are a wide range of majors, and the school offers double majors and double degrees. For example, students can choose the learning mode of engineering plus business or engineering plus science. That is to say, students can freely match according to their own interests, and their academic system will be extended for one year on the original basis.
